Liverpool keeper Alisson made his World Cup debut sporting a scintillating moustache.
The 30-year-old Brazilian No. 1 kept a clean sheet for the South Americans in their tournament opener against Serbia on Thursday evening.
A brilliant brace from Richardson was enough to settle the match for the five-time champions in a 2–0 victory.
And while Alison wasn’t forced to make any flashy saves, her new look got people talking.
The Reds shot-stopper is known for his full beard, but shaved it off a few weeks before the World Cup.
Yet now he has come in between the two with an amazing looking moustache.
And those on social media gave Alison’s new style many rave reviews.
One person said: “A mustache Alison Baker means a clean sheet. Viva Brazil.”
While another said: “Can we all just admit that Alison is totally rocking that moustache!”
A third said: “Alison’s mustache is a thing of beauty.”

And a fourth added: “I’d like to congratulate Alison Baker first of all on her moustache. It’s a beauty.”
Alisson has been the Brazilian’s first-choice keeper for six years – fending off competition from Manchester City’s Ederson.
But World Cup glory has eluded them – a trophy Brazil hasn’t won since 2002.
However, they are favorites to win the event in Qatar and on Thursday they got off to a great start.
