Mangaluru: Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police Praveen Sood on Sunday confirmed that there has been a suspected low-intensity explosion in an autorickshaw in Mangaluru. Mangaluru There was a terrorist incident on Saturday.
The top police officer tweeted, “Now it is confirmed. The blast is not accidental but an act of terrorism with the intention of causing grievous harm. The Karnataka State Police is probing it thoroughly with central agencies.”

A team of top officials of city police visited the spot and started investigation.
City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar, who is leading the investigation, visited the hospital where the injured are being treated. Sources said the passenger kept changing his statement.
