Manchester United legend Roy Keane slammed Argentina star Angel Di Maria after their loss to Saudi Arabia.
The Copa America winners suffered a 2-1 defeat against Group C minnows at Lusail Stadium today in a match in which three first-half goals were disallowed for offside.
Keane did not hold back in his criticism of Lionel Scaloni’s men as he claimed they lacked aggression and composure against their underdog opponents coming from behind.
The former Republic of Ireland international was particularly critical of ex-United star Di Maria as the Juventus ace was easily beaten by Salem Aldavsarri before his extraordinary winner.
Keane told ITV: “There’s no aggression, there’s corpses, you’ve got to go there to attack, they’ve lost all patience.
“He’s lost his head, look at Di Maria… Di Maria, my God.”
Argentina opened the scoring after just 10 minutes thanks to a penalty kick from Lionel Messi.
However, Saleh Ashhari equalized five minutes later after 48 minutes through Aldawsari’s shout.
Keane praised the performance of Hervé Renard’s team against a “terrible” Argentina.
The United great said: “One-nil down you’re thinking they’re hanging in there, alive, on the ropes. They get a goal back and go on to win the game.

“But it’s a great reminder to anyone watching the game of football that, if you think you can change with just your quality of getting over the line, you’re wrong.
“Argentina had a really terrible second half, all credit to Saudi Arabia, stayed in the game, competed, amazing result.”
