Thomas Rhett’s “Half of Me”, featuring Riley Green, climbs from No. 3 to No. 1 Boardof the Country Airplay chart dated 26 November. According to Luminet, in the tracking week ending 20 November, the song grew by 8% to reach 31 million audience impressions.
“Half” is Thomas Rhett’s 18th Country Airplay leader and Green’s first. He becomes one of 14 acts to have 18 No. 1s; Kenny Chesney leads with 32.
“It’s always a big deal to me because the song is No. 1, but it’s extra special because it’s with my friend Riley,” Rhett tells WebMD. Board, “Really glad we get to celebrate this song together with our friends on the radio and fans.”
Rhett co-wrote his latest country airplay leader with his father, Rhett Akins, and Will Bundy and Josh Thompson. It is the second single from Rhett’s sixth full-length, where we startedwhich peaked at No. 2 Top Country Albums in April, marking her sixth Top 10. The title track featured pop star Katy Perry, who (wearing a black cowboy hat) joined Rhett to perform the song at the 56th annual ceremony. Country Music Association (CMA) Awards Nov. 9.
On the streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot Country Songs list, “Half” rebounded to its best ever rank (10–9), as it achieved 5.1 million official streams and 1,000 downloads in the United States on November 11. Sell it. -17 tracking weeks.
“Half” follows Rhett’s “Slow Down Summer”, which peaked at No. 2 on Country Airplay in May. Previously, “Country Again” headed for one week in September 2021. Valdosta, Ga. The U.S. singer-songwriter scored his first Country Airplay leader in October 2013, when “It Goes Like This”, his third entry, began a three-week reign.
Green, from Jacksonville, Fla., reigns with his fifth country airplay hit. He achieved a Top 10 spot with his first entry, “There Was This Girl”, which climbed to No. 3 in March 2019. He also entered the top 20 with “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” (No. 12, February 2020). ,
Hardy’s “Wet in the Truck,” starring Lanny Wilson, rolls 14-7 on Hot Country Songs, up 38% to 10.1 million streams in the tracking week of Nov. 11-17, following his performance of the song at the CMA Awards Nov. 9 Wilson also won two trophies that night for Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year.
Meanwhile, “Truck” sold 8,000 downloads (up 3%) and topped the Country Digital Songs Sales for a fifth week. On Country Airplay, the song rises 25–21 (8.5 million, up 19%).
Her collaborations with Dierks Bentley and Breeland followed Hardy’s third Hot Country Songs Top 10, “Bear on Me”, which peaked at No. 5 in March. He scored his first top 10 with his second entry, “One Beer”, featuring Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson (No. 4, Nov 2020).
Wilson also added his third Hot Country Songs Top 10. She reached the tier for the first time with her debut chart hit “Things a Man Oughta Know,” which peaked at No. 3 in September 2021, while “Never Say Never,” with Cole Swindell, peaked at No. 2 this April .

Jordan Davis scored his sixth straight career-opening country airplay top 10 as “What My World Spins Around” rises 12–10 (17.5 million, 8%). The song follows “By Dirt” (featuring Luke Bryan), which led to the release of Two Frames in January. Davis’ debut entry, “Singles You Up”, became the first of three No. 1s in April 2018, advancing to one week.
