Manchester City star Jack Grealish has described his sister Holly as his ‘best friend’.
The 27-year-old was seen celebrating with loved ones after scoring during England’s 6-2 World Cup win over Iran.
Who is Jack Grealish’s sister Holly Grealish?
Holly Grealish, 19, was born on 30 August 2003.
She was born with cerebral palsy – a condition that affects movement and balance.
Jack explains that his sister was born three months premature and was not expected to be able to walk or talk.
However, she defied the odds and can now do both.
Holly has been a huge supporter of Jack both on and off the pitch and the pair share a very close relationship.
Jack threw his sister a special 18th birthday bash in 2021 and invited his favorite Coronation Street star Andrew Whyment to the event.
Following the bash, Whyment took to Instagram to share a kind message to the birthday girl, writing, “Absolute pleasure to surprise @holliegrealish one of @CoronationStreet’s biggest fans whom I wish to celebrate her 18th birthday tonight.” I know for.”
Holly replied: “You’ve made my night, thank you so much for coming, hope to see you soon.”
The Manchester City player is renowned for his charity work and is a long-time supporter of the charities Children in Need and Saving Lives.
During the COVID pandemic, he sold one of his Aston Villa shirts for £55,000 and donated the money to the NHS.
Jack is said to have donated £150,000 to a local hospital during the coronavirus pandemic.
The footballer also signed up to be an ambassador for Special Olympics GB, which is campaigning for more inclusion in sport.
Jack has committed to a long-term role with the charity, which aims to bring children with intellectual disabilities into sport.
At the time he said: “Special Olympics GB is such an important organization that is playing a huge part in tackling the lack of inclusion for the hundreds of thousands of children with intellectual disabilities in the UK”.
Does Jack Grealish Have Any Other Siblings?
Born on September 10, 1995, Jack is the eldest of five siblings.
His brother Keelan was born on 25 June 1999, but passed away when he was only nine months old.
Keelan died of sudden infant death syndrome in April 2000, when Jack was four years old.
Throughout his career, Jack has paid tribute to Keelan, dedicating many of his goals to his siblings.
In November 2018, while Jack was playing for Aston Villa, he dedicated their 4–2 win to his younger brother.
After the game he said: “I got emotional after scoring because of the passing of my little brother. I dedicated the goal to him.”
Jack posted a photo of his gravesite in 2022, the 22nd anniversary of his brother’s death.
Jack also has a younger sister, Kira, who was born in 2001, and a younger brother, Kevan, who was born in 1997.
